Have you considered how progress will occur through the Holy Spirit?
Wisdom and knowledge were the cornerstones of the teachings and instructions of the holy scriptures. Judaic Prophets and High Priests were the living authority, and they were responsible for guiding the men of the tribes in the ways of righteous living.
Peter and the other disciples were responsible for bringing Jews into the next age. They were responsible for connecting the holy scriptures to the commandments that Jesus set forth. With this came the good news gospel, that the prophecy of the Messiah had come to fulfillment, and with it, the Holy Spirit and Kingdom were made available to those who believed, and set themselves aside to explore life as a part of the body of Christ.
Paul and his students were responsible for focussing on the Jews in the other regions of the known world, and as well, bringing non-Jews, into an understanding of who Jesus was and what it meant to serve the Almighty God through the Authority of His Son.
But, my reason for writing this to you, is there was never an end to the developing of a relationship mankind has with the Father through the Holy Spirit. Meaning, it was never to end as man made religions, which become corrupted and stagnate. Perfection is a constant that we are meant to manifest in our lives.
I know this because I am a witness to this way. The truth of Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit is that the authority of the Father is full, but available only to those who in faith act upon it. That is to say, faith is not a religion, or a series of texts, no, faith is itself a holy attribute. An unseen quality of God that believers rely upon to serve the will of God through the authority Christ carries. Faithful acts are a manifest of perfection.
For me personally, faithfulness manifest in the authority of the Lord setting 'word' upon me. It comes through the Holy Spirit from the Lord, or through his servants, or even through my understanding directly. But it is holy and perfect. It is active, and meant for the moment it is witnessed, but carries eternal wisdom that glorifies the Father through the Son whose authority placed this light in front of me.
The point I need all my spiritual family to really commit to understanding is; the progress of righteousness is still happening amongst the living. It is in the form of faithfulness that is acted on in the present moment. Not relying on men of error, or texts of testimony, no, it is now the time to truly embrace seeking spiritual living in a way that mimics heaven. We will be with the Holy Spirit forever, and the traits of eternal kingdom are available in the present moment to all who wish to serve through Christ.
I do not know you, nor do I know what gifts the Holy Spirit brings out through your faith. But what I do know is that those gifts are meant to be celebrated and they only can manifest through a love of the Father or a love for others.
I encourage you to see prayer as something that is done throughout the day, like an silent, one way conversation in your mind. Offer thanks, making requests, seeking understanding, sharing your hopes, petitioning on the behalf of others...every kind of prayer in the present moment. This type of love is unseen and awarded. Your actions in the world are to be a manifest of the love you keep within you, so build that love up in prayer.
The way of faithfulness is the progression that will bring believers to the Father in a way that honors Him through His Son. This is the mark of Christ on the mind of those he will claim.
Share this, pray about it, celebrate it.
Be well.
