Prince of Peace

The Lord spoke to me in the Spirit asking,

"How have you been carrying me forward?"

In the Spirit I replied,

"By setting aside myself, not matter the state I am in, so that I may be with you, and share time in the world. I consider you even when I stray, and return often to remain renewed. I carry you forward as my truest sense of hope."

In the Spirit, the Lord then said,

"You do. Yet you return to the world, and you are conflicted by what you are burdened by. You do this because you must, and I do not hold this against you. It serves to convey suffering on my behalf.

By grace alone does this occur. It is the same for all others who believe in me. Do you trust this?"

Humbly in the Spirit I replied,

"No. I should though."

Gently, the Lord spoke in the Spirit,

"Indeed you should. It would allow you to percieve through peace. The water is calm in this, you commit to the stormy waters otherwise, and lose sight of the horizon. Consider this."

Comforted, in the Spirit I replied,

"Thank you Lord. This must be why they call you the prince of peace. I have never made that connection."

The Lord in the Spirit spoke saying,

"I am. And you will know me in full. This is a matter of joy I carry for you. Hold tight to my teachings, they will serve you well."

I ended saying,

"Yes Lord."

We who believe in the blood of the Holy Lamb of God are under grace, a perpetual forgiveness. When we seek him out, it is by faith alone that this grace allows us to find him.

We have to set aside everything to find him. And when we have completed our act of faith, partaken in him, what do we do? We return to our place in the world. We stray.

What the Lord is wanting us to know is that he acknowledges the suffering we go through to seek him out. To set ourselves aside, then, to have to return to our meaningless exiatence. This sufferance is common for all believers.

This is where there is an opportunity to raise our perception. He knows it is a sufferance. He wants us to know he is forgiving of it, and that by this grace, we should gain true peace.

For is it not our nature to leave behind states of holiness and consider ourselves commited to our failings in the world? Yes. What is then to be embraced is that by grace we are able to remain in peace, and carry this forward.

Bless you, pray and meditate on the deeper meaning of grace by the blood.
