Who we are is how we serve

Psalms 24:7
"Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; that the King of glory may come in."

Psalms 24:9
"Lift up your heads, O ye gates, yea, lift them up, ye everlasting doors; that the King of glory may come in."
-
The gates are hosts, and the everlasting doors are their responsibility. The hosts of the Earth are eternal beings that are set in the world. They have been given the responsibility of access to everlasting paths, which are knowledge based on truth. These doors are meant to open the way of righteousness through the faithful who would serve.
The host are instructed to support these paths, and that they as hosts are accountable for the authority they were granted.
-
Psalms 24:3
"Who shall ascend into the mountain of the LORD? and who shall stand in His holy place?"
Psalms 24:4
"He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not taken My name in vain, and hath not sworn deceitfully."
-
'The name' is the authority of. The authority of the Lord was given through an oath of service. That service came with power, power that may have been desired more than the honor of service. That deceit can be corrected before it is too late, too late is when judgement falls.
-
Psalms 24:2
"For He hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods."
-
Existence came out of the ocean and with it the Law of Creation. The floods were the act of judgement upon those hosts who had used their authority to serve their own will, and had done so in deception.
-
Psalms 24:1
"A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein."
-
Through the development of mankind and then the introduction of Adam's lineage, eternal hosts were open to jealousy, as they were not of physical quality. They corrupted mankind and acted out of envy. All of this the Lord knew before it happened, and all that is and is to come he knows as well.
-
Psalms 24:5
"He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation."
Psalms 24:6
"Such is the generation of them that seek after Him, that seek Thy face, even Jacob. Selah"
-
Humanity has the capacity to deny itself. This is something that is distinctly human. This is the wisdom of the Lord. We are rais3d in the fire of temptation so to overcome it, and instead seek what is unique and holy, not of substance but of righteousness. Those who can do so, and act of faith in this righteousness, are those who the Lord seeks to be of his body of Truth.
-
Psalms 24:8
"'Who is the King of glory?' 'The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.'"
Psalms 24:10
"'Who then is the King of glory?' 'The LORD of hosts; He is the King of glory.' Selah"
-
Ephesians 6:10-17
10
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
11
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15
and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
