God made us in a special way. All the other animals and creatures on the planet cannot choose how they act, they just act. Humans can choose how they act.
This is called free will. It means we have the ability to choose what we do.
The people who care about us, they tell us what is right and what is wrong. They also tell us what is safe and what is dangerous. We still have the free will to choose what we do, but, we also think about what we have been told.
The older we get, the more we know. So it becomes easier to choose what we want to do. But sometimes, we get angry, or sad. And then what we do might be different then when we are happy or calm. So our emotions have the power to change what we want to do.
God knows this.
In heaven, there are special feelings. Each of these feelings is a part of God. And these special feelings are also here on Earth for us! We call them spiritual fruit. We call them that because the bloom in of belief in Jesus and they become beautiful and wonderful when they come through us.
These fruit are all different pieces of God. Amd they are come from Love, because God is Love. We have the free will to seek these fruit, and have them come through us. They become how we act. So we deliver these fruit, which is a part of God.
Love, kindness, gentleness, patience, peace, joy, goodness, faithfulness, and self control. These are all a part of God. And all of heaven knows this.
Next time you want to act on your anger, just remember that God gave you free will. And you have the freedom to be patient, or kind, instead of angry. Because all of the fruits of God are perfect. And the more you have these fruits come through you, the more you are honoring God.
