The Truth of Love

It is without purpose to love your friends and family. Even pagans and the wicked show love for their own. Purpose is found in loving your enemy. And the only way to love your enemy is to treat them as you would have yourselves be treated.

Who is your enemy? Anyone you would naturally treat less than yourself. Anyone who threatens your natural comforts in emotion and in knowledge. Your enemy makes you react to them through actions that honor themselves. Which is exactly how we make them react; through actions that honor ourselves.

Love is the path to peace that is holy. Any other path to peace relies on some form of oppression or control. There is no truth in inequality, there is only compromise. So we know that the correct path to peace, true peace, includes loving one another, by treating them as we would have ourselves be treated.

Are Christians the only ones capable of this? No.
Are those of others religions capable of this? No.
Are individuals able to deny themselves for the sake of others? Yes.
Is there ine specific example of this that can be seen as the way to holy love and holy peace? Yes.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Christ Jesus is not a religion. Christ Jesus is the Truth. Him be sacrificed is the example of the Way of love. Believing in this sacrifice, is how we honor the Life we have been given. Life is spiritual, not physical.

Treat others how you would have yourself be treated. This; on a global scale, creates a balance that honors God and His sacrifice. If we learn this lesson and act on it, we will have true peace, and joy among us. Peace and Joy, are not attributes of the flesh, they are attributes that the Life inside us feeds off of, recognizes. The Spirit of Truth is holy and complete, and the life inside us is of that Spirit.
The life inside us; in each of us, is the same. So to then treat one another differently, is wholly and completely based on the physical world and the flesh. Yes, people who do not know the Law, do not comprehend sin. Yes, people of the Law make judgements solely on their knowledge of righteousness. Yes, even Christians have chosen to act in defense of themselves, honoring a piety that is purely self providing. But love, love can overcome all these.

Treating others as you would have yourselves be treated, is not a political declaration, or a religious stipulation. No, it is a spiritual elevation. An elevation that every living soul can adhere to. And the only way we learn is by seeing others set an example. We follow. Jesus knew this. He only did his Father's will, because he loved Him.

We are capable of having holiness work through us, when we deny ourselves. We all have attributes that we consider strengths. These strengths or 'differences' do indeed define us in the world, but they in no way honor God or His Truth. We can put aside our strengths, our empowered states of being, so to treat equally our enemy whom makes us react to them through actions that honor themselves. It is loving to refrain from actions that honor our natural selves. Yes, God created us as equal, but only in Spirit is this true.

The world and the flesh respond to power which only recognizes strength and weakness. The knowledge of good and evil only recognizes power. So it is only through denial of power, that we find love that is true.
Be loving of your enemy. Your enemy makes you react to them through actions that honor themselves. Which is exactly how we make them react; through actions that honor ourselves.

And lastly, thank the Father for His Truth, that came at a great cost, an eternal example of His Love.
