There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
---
As gentiles, that being everyone in the world who is not a temple Jew from the time before and during the time of Christ Jesus, as gentiles; we do not carry the opportunity to become perfected by knowledge. For gentiles, perfection comes through us, as we walk in our trepasses. So we are not 'made perfect in love'. Instead, our faith in our redemption, allows us to serve the will of God by having His Truth live within us, so we can serve the Father by doing His will. Which is, to love.
Again, love is shown to be greater than our natural disposition. Allow what is greater than your knowledge or your reasoning to guide your choices. Faith, is based in love, as is patience, kindness, and all the holy fruits.
There is no fear in love because love is not human, it is eternal, complete, and perfect. Fear is what gave way to the ideal of 'an eye for an eye'.

Matthew 5:38-39
38
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’
39
But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.

Matthew 5:43-45
43
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
44
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
45
that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Fearless in love, is not allowing your instinctive reactions to defend this flesh or what you covet or take pride in. Fearless is seeing those who trespass against you as important to God as you are. This is exactly what Jesus was known for. He allowed his disciples to buy swords in fear, only to pick up the ear of the enemy and return it healed to the his body. His lessons are all complete, because he did his Father's will. He loved.
I have been known to say Fear God. Jesus said to love the Father with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.

Romans 3:18-20
18
“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
19
Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.
20
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

The role of the Holy Spirit is of the sword. The Holy Spirit supplies the fruits of the Eternal Truth. But a humble believer acknowledges that these traits, all based in love, recognize the Father as who is righteous alone. Those who see themselves as righteous since the ascension, claim love and all the fruits of the Holy Spirit as of them.
Please see now, the reason for these individuals to fear God. They do not recognize the Father as solely righteous. And the kingdom upon us, is a conscience that bears perfection. It will be claimed when Christ returns. And the witness of all since the ascension will recognize those who identify themselves as perfect, or, as having perfection work through them.

1 John 5:7-8
6
This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

Of the lineage of Seth, of the cleansing baptism of Noah, Jesus became the Son of God, as his Spirit was promised to the Jews as a Messiah. But this is what is said about what happend:

Gospel of Thomas
43
1
His disciples said to him, "Who are you to say these things to us?"
2
"You don't understand who I am from what I say to you.
3
Rather, you have become like the Judeans, for they love the tree but hate its fruit, or they love
the fruit but hate the tree."

Be loving, by acknowledging it is holy and comes through you because of you believe God is love. Otherwise, you will find yourself having to confess it later.
