Not bread alone: Spiritual weakness

Weakness.

So what is spiritual weakness? When we resort to worldliness. When we return to what we were, instead of what we have turned to.

I say to you, the closer you get to the Spirit of Truth the emptier your existence becomes. We become instead in requirement of the Spirit, unable to sustain ouselves in the world. Like a child:

---

Matthew 18:3-5
3
“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
4
Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5
And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

---

We should strive to further ourselves from the milk of duality, (worldliness and its knowledge of sin), and we instead, hunger to sustain ourselves on the meat. The meat is the spiritual path, the full form of what is the purpose of this time we have.

As we strive, (persevere); we find ourselves in a state of trial more and more. It is up to each individual to not only recognize what is holy (of the kingdom), but, believe that it is holiness acting through them ( faith that honors the truth). Otherwise, we claim as our own; the fruit that is not of our worldliness. The enemy would have us believe we are what brings perfection, when the truth is, our faith that holiness can work through us honors the Father.

Our weaknesses actually increase, the further we place ourselves away from what we were before we believed. Weakness, in this context, is when we learn something of our purpose, and it is met with challenge. The flesh and the world do not gain from the truth. On the contrary, the flesh reacts to being denied, and the wickedness in heavenly realms brings sin upon us.

Jesus was the first to experience this in whole, as he was swept away to fast for forty days in temptation. The longer he denied himself, and the wickedness in heavenly realms; the syronger he became in the Spirit, and the greater the temptation he faced.

His fasting was not 'of bread alone', no, he was being sustained by faith.  His trials were not of his strength as a man but of his humility in service; not 'testing the Lord our God'. His kingdom was not worldly but was of the Spirit, serving only the unseen qualities of God.

I said to the Father tonight, "Forgive me for my weaknesses, I am filled with weakness." And in this admittance, I was shown that it is not the temptation that is weakness, and it is not the actions that are condemnable; it is the guilt that keeps us away from serving true purpose, that brings judgement upon us.

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

---

You will stumble, you do sin. But, in your trespasses, you will find that if you seek in faithfulness the truth, so to serve by the gifts the Holy Spirit grants you, you will serve in a way that honors God's will; you will begin fulfilling your purpose.

We are not perfect. But perfection can work through us to serve one another in loving ways. And it is those who proclaim that perfection in their weaknesses are acts of God through them, these are whom glorify the Father by His Truth.

Doing the will of God is fulfilling your purpose spiritually. And the only way; is believing that holiness is supplied by the conscience, which God placed in all mankind. That conscience is the kingdom upon us. And it was given as an opportunity, a grace, so that we could recognize the Father as righteous alone.

Weaknesses keep us humble. The truth keeps us sincere. Faith places the Father above all things. His sharing of His authority with those who act to fulfill their purpose. Weakness is part of being human, and that is because we have been opposing death with our knowledge. Perfection comes when we defeat death, by acting on faith, not our understanding.

Blessings upon you, child of God.
