Mercy in the night

The Hebrews were claimed as the Lord God's chosen people. He rescued them from the opression of Egypt. They left in haste. They left in the night. He took what was not His to take, he claimed them out of their bondage. Like a thief, in the night.

They became a nation of God, and through bloodlines and through land; they learned wisdom through their obedience to their knowledge of sin. But all that knowledge and development, all those traditions and all that insight; did not bring one soul into the presence of God.

Obedience through knowledge was the wide path given as a mercy; but in the end, did not root where faith in truth; blooms. So the true children of Abraham are those who recognize the unseen qualities of God by faith that act through us, not because of us.

The prophets of these people, were spoken to. This is not how it is done with our council. Because we have faith; our teacher is the Spirit of Truth, who places the Truth on our hearts, and words to our lips. The Holy Spirit acts through this kingdom. Our belief is that we holiness working through us as we put our imperfection aside. This is what separates us from those whom claim the kingdom as their own perfection through their knowledge. Yes, all can love. But how do we glorify God? By claiming that love is from us, or, by celebrating it comes from God alone?

---
Gospel of Thomas, saying 43
43
1
His disciples said to him, "Who are you to say these things to us?"
"You don't understand who I am from what I say to you.
Rather, you have become like the Judeans, for they love the tree but hate its fruit, or they love
the fruit but hate the tree."

---

It is the Holy Spirit that is witness to this division, this separating of the wheat from the chaff. We who walk in our trangressions, believe the kingdom set upon us is what the holiness of God acts through by His Spirit of Truth. We believe the fruits of holiness are not human, and cannot be learned, claimed, or fully understood. Instead, we see them as perfection that acts through us when we humbly set ourselves aside in order for them to come to bear. This is a wisdom of heaven. It is this gospel of the kingdom of heaven that has been preached to the dead also.

---

1 Peter 4:6
6
For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

---

There are those whom still remain unwilling to believe in this message of good news, that Christ supplied us. And those who do not believe, they will not be able to see that; what fruit comes from their vine, that does not honor the Father's Truth.

---

Gospel of Thomas, saying 40
40
1
Jesus said, "A grapevine has been planted apart from the Father.
Since it is not strong, it will be pulled up by its root and will perish."

---

This is how even pagans love their own. The kingdom of heaven supplies holiness, but that holiness does not make the flesh holy. To know the Father is to know His Truth, and knowing His Truth leads us to the Father. There is no other path that glorifies Him. Those whom remain reliant on their knowledge of good and evil, are bound to the old mediation, and are therefore judged by it aswell.

In the end, we know that it was mercy that God showed the Hebrews. And it is that mercy that shows God as loving. Those who deny His Truth will confess to it, and honor it, as there is nothing else but mercy without recognizing the message of salvation.

---

Matthew 9:13
13
But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

---

And all sin. So what is there to say but, to love the Father is to recognize His Truth. With all your heart, with all your mind, and your soul, seek to put your self aside, so what fruits you bear is good, and honors Him as what is righteous.

Amen
