There is still a great deal of false doctrine spreading in Christian ministries. This letter is to clarify one of the great misconceptions.
The covenant that the Lord made with Abraham is replaced. It is no longer valid. It is outdated. It is replaced with a better covenant.
-
Hebrews 8:13
By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.
-
The new covenant was made with first the Jews, then the Gentiles. It was brought to them in person by God through His Son. It is the good news of the Kingdom being available to all who believe in the authority the Father placed in His Son. The Kingdom supplies all righteousness, which is God then living among us. Within the true Tabernacle is the living body of Christ. He is the only one who had been in the presence of the Father and then returned to His presence. Once a human is called, they are by faith part of the body of believers who are in Jesus as he is in them. Jesus sits as authority, he is in the Father and the Father is in him. So through Jesus, God is among us who carry His Truth.

Hebrews 8:10-12
10
This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
11
No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12
For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”
-
The Kingdom is the Holy Conscience of God. This is what is meant by "I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts."
And this is why Jesus spread the good news about the Kingdom. Through the Kingdom, no amount of distance, nor state of being can separate God from one who loves Him. This is why Jesus said to his disciples:
-
Matthew 21:31
"Which of the two did what his father wanted?" "The first," they answered. Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.
-
Because through faith in Jesus as the final sacrifice for sin, we no longer face the consequences for what the Law brought into being. The Father wanted us to see the error of sin that is not repented and denied. And that error is that it repeats itself until it is corrected. The Israelites under the old covenant repeatedly fell away from obedience:
-
Hebrews 8:7-9
7
For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.
8
But God found fault with the people and said:
“The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
9
It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them,
declares the Lord.

To this very day, Jews who deny Christ Jesus are still waiting for the new covenant, because they did not believe Jesus. And with them, all those nations who fall into this deception. This is why the current president of the United States, who claims to be a Christian, is in error in empowering a nation of non-believers who deny the new covenant. By continuing to consider the Israel as still waiting for God to fulfill the old covenant, is to deny that promise made in Christ exists.
The covenant between God and Jews is the basis for the idea of the Jews as the chosen people. The first covenant was between God and Abraham. Jewish men are circumcised as a symbol of this covenant.
Now the circumcision is spiritual. Our faith that Jesus is the Son of God and full authority is our spiritual circumcision.

Colossians 2:9-12
9
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,
10
and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.
11
In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ,
12
having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
-
The true children of Abraham are based on faith, not genealogy or geography. This was explained in detail by Paul the Apostle:
-
Galatians 3:6-9
6
So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
7
Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.
8
Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”
9
So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

The faith ministry and the good news about the Kingdom were first shared directly with the Jews and then to the rest of the world. The Jews who accepted in faith that Jesus was the Messiah, were of the Law then also of the new covenant. The Jews who denied and still deny that Jesus is the Son of God, are blind and separate from the Truth. The covenant they still wait on, has already been replaced with a better covenant which had been prophesied about in the Holy Book of Jeremiah 31, then readdressed in Hebrews 8.
They still love their neighbor and hate their enemies. They believe in an eye for an eye. They consider themselves as righteous. They consider favor to be worldly. They cleanse the outside and not the inside. They do not repent and deny themselves. They are centralized on embracing the flesh, as it to them is perfect. There are numerous differences between those who believe in Christ and those who deny him. I mention all these things only because the influences of false doctrine are openly embraced by Satan. Those who deny Christ but remain under the Law of Sin, are furthering themselves from the Authority of the Word of God and instead defending the lesser authority of the prince of this world.
Peter mentioned 'it will soon disappear.', speaking of the old covenant. To clarify, that timeline is in conjunction with the completion of the ministry of faith making its rounds through the provinces via the disciples. They received the Holy Spirit at a time called Pentecost. The Holy Spirit enabled them till the work was done. Since then, miracles, healings, raising the dead, and acts such as these have not been seen. When the head of the body, Christ Jesus, returns and claims the Kingdom, the fruits and gifts, treasures, crowns, and even other kingdoms will all be set upon those who are co heirs with him of God. Until then, this is a day to day growth in the Lord through faith. Learning and acknowledging the unseen qualities of God.
The new covenant has been in effect for almost two thousand years. Do not let false teachings tell you otherwise.
