Ever wondered about this? Paul and all the Apostles were raised under the Law of sin and death. Paul truly was the first olive branch of salvation to those outside the Temple walls. To this very day, the letters of Paul are key to the entire world understanding what it is to be of the Law of Spirit. But ever wondered what it means to have a leader who walks in their transgressions? Well that is exactly what today's understanding is about.
Gentiles are those who were not raised in Law. So everyone today that is not Jewish or Islamic is a Gentile. And among the Gentiles there is a heap of issues related to generations of misteaching of the gospel of Christ.
Protestants took Jewish laws, ordinates, then added teachings meant for Messianical Jews and created houses that separated believers from personal relationships with the Father through the Holy Spirit under the Authority of the Son. Catholics took a similar route. They added idol worship, new traditions, and placed their ministers between believers and forgiveness by creating confession and penance that created an authority separate from grace. Both houses although divided, have still one thing in common, loving the Father on their own terms. Blind, both houses became a utility to the will of man, endorsing war, economic faith, and self empowerment.
So even as we have text from the beginning of Christ's ministry, and we have what seems to be clear cut direction as to how to approach our day to day, it is these very texts that have been used, weaponized to suit the will of man. How could this be?
Two naked gentile slaves are in the desert, dying, and there is no way for them to find water, food, or shelter. One slave knows of Jesus, the other is still bound by sin.
The believer, worrying for his counterpart, asks if he wants to get right with God before he dies. The unbeliever says yes. The believer explains that God sent down His Holy One to take on the form of flesh. He explains that this flesh is what separates us from God. He tells his counterpart that the Son of God overcame this flesh by remaining faithful into his death. And that the Son overcame death, and in doing so was resurrected by the Spirit of God. The believer goes on to say, that the Son was then taken up to Heaven and is now the living authority of God. And if we believe that he did this for us, we are saved, and will be raised up like he was, on the last day. The unbeliever took what was said to heart, and asked what must he do to receive this? The believer said repent all your wrongdoings, thank the Father for the Son, and ask forgiveness for what has been, and grace for what will be. And believe that the same Spirit who raised the Son, now lives in you.

The slaves die and the slaves both will know salvation and eternal life. No book saved them, no house was needed, no tradition, nothing but the sincere belief in the Son of God, and the Gospel of Truth. Gentile to gentile, is fully and completely Spirit led.
The believer slave did not quote the bible, he listened to the Holy Spirit which was in him. The words he shared were what needed to be said, and were complete and full for the moment they were in. There is no other way to receive the Holy Spirit baptism, which is the only baptism. The Holy Spirit acknowledge belief, and settles on those bound by death, and brings into them life.

Luke 23:39-43
39
One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”
40
But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence?
41
We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”
42
Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. ”
43
Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.

Was the criminal a Jew or a Gentile? Doesn't matter. He knew that he was being punished justly, which means he had a clear conscience, which is a repentant mind. What matters is he had faith enough to die believing in the authority of Christ. And we as believers will know this criminal eternally as a brother.
Gentile to gentile, our day is to be Spirit led. The Kingdom provides us with righteousness, and we recognize that righteousness as not of us, but of God alone. We are dead to the world, and this flesh. What life is in us is our soul humbly relying on the Holy Spirit. And that is how we begin our day, and that is how we end our day. We remain thankful for what holiness comes through us, and we ask forgiveness for what we have yet to overcome. Faith! Faith! Faith!
The Body of Christ is Spirit led.
