Lies and living
Corinthians 3:9-10
9
Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices
10
and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
---
Paul was speaking to believers in Corinth when he wrote this. The idea was to learn to be honest with others in a controlled, loving environment. As they werr surrounded with like-minded individuals who were learning together that evryone grew up developing reliances on this poverty of the flesh.
---
John 8:44
44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
---
Paul did not witness Jesus saying this. Paul istead relied on knowledge passed on through spiritual means, unseen means. The Holy Spirit is our council as believers, we no longer rely on our own understanding. We allow our belief to replace our worldliness, allowing instead; spiritual truth to recognize our sincerity, and speak through us by what is considered the kingdom.
Lies in the world. We are raised in them, we afford them, we have used them to benefit our selves and those we care for. We gain from them. Lies protect what we invest time into, what we are possessive of. Lying is wickedness, the act of evil. Although lies can save lives, sustain comforts, and even provide advancement and security; none of these things honors the unseen qualities of God.
Lies are worldly, and we all grew using lies to get our way. Some say, 'lying to defend what you love is okay'. But that is like saying, 'what I love is worth lying for'. Selfishness lies, selflessness relies on the truth. Nothing that is holy needs lies to sustain it. So what can a lie do for love, when love is holy. No, love does not need lies ever if the truth is working in us. If you need to lie to defend what you love, what you say you love is selfishly sustained for your sake, and does not honor God.
---
John 14:6
6
Jesus replied, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
---
1 John 2:22
22
Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist--denying the Father and the Son.
---
An antichrist lies about love being human and claims it in ways that deny the truth of love; the Son of God. Amen. There is no ministry of God that can supply selfless acts that are holy; that does not acknowledge that truth supplies the Father's will alone. In this way, the worldliness of mankind, is the wickedness that denies the spiritual holiness of truth. Which is another way of saying the Anti Christ relies of the flesh and the world to do the will of the prince of the world. I have in the past said that the Anti Christ is a spirit that is fuelled by lies. I said this because lies use the living spirit of man to supply the prince of this world what is his will.
Paul wanted the believers in Corinth to practice being honest with one another, because they were in this way, renewing their understanding of the unseen qualities of God. Honesty does not benefit the selfish qualities of our worldly selves, ever. Honesty brings light to our weaknesses, our desires, our pains, our covets, jealousies, hatreds, and fears. This is exactly the reason why Jesus had his disciples give up everything to follow him. The same with groups under Paul's ministry, none can recognize the truth without first denying the lie strength in their lives. You cannot reconcile yourself to God in any other way but His Truth.
So why do the poor inherit the Kingdom of Heaven? Because they have nothing in this world worth lying about. The poor carry the truth, and are forced into a position where the unseen qualities of God become apparent. It is better to be reconciled to God with an empty belly and no where to rest your head, than it is to be warm and well fed in what your lies provide.
I personally have been starved and dying. And it was when in my starvation, I finally put myself aside and repented my sins and aplraoched God with all the honesty I could supply. My sincerity was in tears and in desperation. It was only after that and many hours of giving thanks, having expected to die, that I recieved my annointing. I wish I would have died. After the initial annointing, I seemed to increase in awareness. But I had to continue to repent what grace showed me, in order to increase more. Weeks went by it seemed like. And truly I felt different, as I was becoming of holy purpose instead of personal development.
But what did start to happen was, I realized I had to decide between becoming homeless or starting out again in the world. I was not fully willing to be homeless. Even after all that I was shown and all that came upon me, I feared being homeless, I feared death.
That was over four years ago. And since then I was taken in by family. And what they see as progress re entering society, I see as failing the Father and His Truth. I have even started to be two faced with co workers, lying to them to keep my position. I lie to supply myself with comforts. The comfort that only leads me along by my desires, leads me further from the truth and again closer to my destruction in judgement. I do this, because I want to live. Even knowing this existence is meaningless. I still want to live. So I more than most, realize what lies are, and what they do. I realize how the enemy uses us, and how we allow wickedness to bloom to supply ourselves with comforts. I repent, and I deeply fear God.
So what can I say? You lie, I lie, anyone who has something to lose, will lie to keep it. What we love is not worth lying for, it is worth dying for. And if you follow the commandments of truth, you love God and you love one another. Do you lie for God? No. Do you lie for others? You shouldn't. The Spirit of Truth supplies the fruits we need to do the will of God, and all these fruits are tberefore based in Love.

James 2:25-26
25
In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction?
26
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
---
Rahab hid spies. She did this act of faith for loving reasons, putting her life on the line for the sake of others. Had she hid them for profit or personal gain, it would have been judged as deceit.
Be known among other believers for your sincerity. Do not think that testimony about the sin you came from honors truth, although it should be shared with the Father, and xknfession to one another is uplifting, no, testimony is ongoing. It is not allowing lies to supply self with gain. Allow instead the lies you would tell to enable your self, to be replaced by knowledge found the the qualities of the Holy Spirit of Truth. Your actions will encourage others to do the same. We live in a time where, wickedness is everywhere. In a time where lies are made to sustain our comforts.
In a time where now sin is no longer hidden by lies and is enabled by being done openly without repent. In a time where Christians in parts of the world lie about being Christian, so they are not murdered or so they can sustain their lives. Wickedness has increased to a point where the enemy, who is the father of lies, has almost replaced the truth. Am I not a sinner? Do I not sin against the Truth to sustain myself here?
---
Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
---
The blood of the Lamb washes away the sins of the believer. Does this mean we continue to sin? No. But we are each of us known. And if in my sin, I can repent it most sincerely, and put myself aside in a moment, for the sake of love in acts of holiness; then yes, I am in Christ Jesus. And the authority of the truth allows me to do the Father's will, through the kingdom the supplied me.
Last word. Lies surround you. You were raised by lies, and you have developed because of their nature. Repent and practice honesty. Do so in prayer first, and then with other believers. Know that honesty is opposite of what the world demands. There is a cost to honesty in the world. This does not mean you should go on lying, it does mean that you should fear God and repent every time you do lie.
Final note:
To be as sly as snakes and simple as doves, does not mean to be wicked and lie and to deny you are. To be as sly as snakes is to know what is being put in front of you and be prepared by knowing what to expect. To be as simple as doves, is to enter into a moment innocently, without motives. Seek first by the kingdom, for the fruits of holiness supply what replaces lies.
Amen.
