The Good Fight
Is it better to fight what is in front of you, or, is it better to concentrate on what is unseen? You can't do both. Which brings up the question of what is the good fight. What is the battleground, what is the enemy, and what is the enemy's weapon.
The battle is spiritual.
The enemy is heavenly forces that lead mankind by their desire to react. During the first generations of mankind, God had these forces to guide mankind towards an understanding of self, knowledge, and authorities. Nations were developed to cement ideals, develop civilities, and progress the geneologies. These forces were considered workers of the field, and there is of course, a field master. Many lesser gods, all of whom provided what they deemed necessary for the development of those they were cultivating.
What made these forces the enemy, was they set out to place themselves between man and God, instead of leading mankind into an understanding of the kingdom. Not unlike organized religions, the wickedness in these heavenly places made themselves out to be God, supplying understanding and creating consequences, placing themselves as authority over the perishing form. This is why, those of the kingdom whom are the Chosen, will judge these angelic forms. The chosen will be of the truth these wicked forms; denied. The use of influences tempt the flesh into doing the will of the enemy. Often what is considered 'free will' is completely the opposite. The soul enabled to do what it desires, is being led by those same desires.
The battle for the enemy is to show each individual is not worthy of conscience, and is instead better off being led by it's flesh and the influence of the world around it. This supplies the master of this world with a harvest that honors itself, instead of God. The kingdom is from where the perfect and holy aspects of God come from. It is a common conscience, as living and eternal as the truth that is it's authority.
The kingdom is from where the attributes of the Spirit of Truth come to us in this perishing form. For us who walk in out trepasses, the kingdom supplies us attributes that are greater than ourselves. When we set ourselves aside for the love of another or for the love of the Father, the Holy Spirit can act through us by the kingdom. The kingdom is a spiritual constant, like the life within this perishing form.
So what is the good fight? The good fight is moment to moment, in the moment of the day you are in. Every decision, every reaction we make is either of faith or is sin. This is why Paul suggested to pray ceaselessly. And this is why Christ's blood afforded us grace. Without faith it is impossible to please God, and without the blood of the Lamb, there is no grace, and what is faith is actually a form of belief in the providence of self. Concentered and corrupted.
The good fight, is to prove that you can put aside yourself, for the love of others, and for the love of the Father who gave up his only begotten son, to prove these wicked forms in heavenly places did not have to cultivate us with deciet and influence; but instead could have loved us by offering us the truth.
What is the truth? It is what we all came from, what we will return to, and what is the only path to the love that made us. The truth is eternal life. And this perishing form can sustain eternal life, as a new creation. But the enemy will have none of that. And so the battle continues.
Repent.
Deny self. Love one another. Love the Father by believing in His Son. The world will hate you, the children of the world will persecute you. The wickedness in heavenly places will never cease tempting you. You will stumble, you still sin. But it is faithfulness based in love that is greater than each of us. Allow faith to come through you. The good fight.
