Guided by passion, over a cliff

God is aware of the many challenges for a nation's people. Divided religious beliefs, starvation, poverty, lack of education, political unrest, and social morality. What you may not know is, it is the nations that overcome these obstacles on their own terms, that are further from God. They may claim God, but so do demons. Nations that work towards a peace truly work towards oppression. They place themselves in a seat of righteousness, and thank God for it. This is the blindness of first world nations. They lead the world over a cliff.


For all these challenges, people are passionate. And they first thing people do is passionate, they react in emotion. Then they make choices based on their knowledge of good and evil. And this is what the enemy wants. These challenges all supply a way to rely on ourselves, instead of seeking the truth of righteousness being God's alone.

So we who carry Christ in us, are called to act on faith. The enemy tries to overwhelm us by our passion. But when we approach issues with emotion and morality, we can only supply emotions and morality. So then we seek righteousness, it glorifies the Father, and it serves His will. This can only happen by acting on faith, instead of our desires to decide what is good, just, and right.

James 1:19-21

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,

because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

What needs to happen, is we must deny ourselves, and seek out God's purpose. This is guided through faith and by the Holy Spirit. We must stop making choices based on our passionate, emotional reactions.

Matthew 16:24

Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.

We are ruled by our logic and emotions. We have developed to rely on the choices we make based on our incomplete knowledge of good and evil. These choices we make are always judgements. We create bias, and division, with every choice. There is always gain and loss as an outcome. This is why we are called to deny ourselves. We cannot supply a perfect truth, without having perfect wisdom.

1 Corinthians 2:6

We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

Our guidance and council comes from the Holy Spirit. A group of men can use scripture to start wars, create bias, warp it to serve their will and call it good. But the Spirit of Truth is of the authority of the Word of God. Jesus is the Word of God, and by his authority we have the presence of the Holy Spirit. By faith we can seek to have what is perfect, describe what is the will of God, so we can act on it.

Your enemies can love, just like you can. The difference between a sheep and a goat, is the sheep listen to their master. We keep Christ in us, and by him, we serve with love in ways that glorify the Father, not loving by own desire. This is a maturity that we grow into, it separates us from the worldly. We love our enemy, we forgive the murderers of our children, we turn the other cheek.

Romans 8:7

The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so.

The worldly challenges we face, all encourage us to rely on ourselves. These challenges will increase, because the living do not recognize what is righteous. They condemn themselves, by relying on the choices they make off of their own reactions to what is in front of them. The true enemy is building enmity between souls and God. Only the faithful are carrying the truth. Denying themselves and serving by faith. Their acts show righteousness, as being God's alone. We are not here to bring the world into peace that the world desires. We are here, to Love the Father, and then one another.

Yes, we are human. The Holy One was placed in a similar form so he could understand what we face. He denied himself, he did the Father's will. If we truly carry him inside us, we must deny ourselves, and have faith we are doing the Father's will. Do not submit to your emotions. Do not consider your instincts or passions as redeeming qualities. Our reconciliation to God, relies upon us acting on faith that His truth can supply the wisdom we need to serve Him and others with love.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Rejoicing in the acts you witness in fellow believers is positive. But deciding what is good and evil in the world, will bring upon you division, anger, and doubt. If you are alone, remain solely focussed on your relationship with the Father. In this, heaven will rejoice for you.
