John 14:17
17
the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
---
Your relationship with the Almighty is spiritual. What is physical, is how you act in love of Him, and how you serve others with His Love. The spiritual, and the physical become His will here on earth. This is the 'day' that has been made. God's love is revealed.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. Without the Holy Spirit, we would only have our knowledge of good and evil to understand the righteousness of the Almighty. The Holy Spirit is the presence of guidance and power. It is the Holy Spirit that is inside us who believe in the ascension. This is the key to eternal wisdom.

John 14:20
20
On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
---
The Spirit of Truth, is the Holy Spirit. It was upon Jesus. From the time he was swept away to face temptation, to the moment he ascended having defeated death: the Spirit of Truth added to itself, the keys to death. Why this is important is, the narrow path that Christ created, is now available through the guidance, and council, of the Holy Spirit.

John 14:6
6
Jesus replied, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through me."
---
Prayer is very important. The idea of prayer has changed in error.
When the Holy Spirit is in you, you grow to understand that you are not alone. A prayer is a constant conversation, a constant request, and confirmation. And with a constant prayer, comes a reaction from what is placed in front of you by the world. And with that trial, comes an opportunity; to continue to seek, and request; guidance, and council, from the Spirit of Truth in you.
The battle is to build faithfulness that the world does not recognize. So your actions in service to the will of God, will overcome what the world is attempting to lead you to do. This is wisdom: everything not done in faith, is sin.
Sin is when the soul acts/reacts to the flesh and the world. This is the spiritual poverty. Because the soul is the breath of God, the life that is in us. The soul is to bring God's will into this 'day' He provided. A soul was meant to do the will of it's master, not, the will of what masters it. If we live by the flesh, we die by the flesh. That death is the sin we are bound by.

Gospel of Thomas, saying 3:1-5
1
Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) imperial rule is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you.
2
If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you.
3
Rather, the (Father's) imperial rule is inside you and outside you.
4
When you know yourselves, then you will be
known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father.
5
But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty."
---
The birds are natural to their environment. They use their environment because it is what they were designed for, and their environment supplies them. The fish are natural to their environment. They use their environment because it is what they were designed for, and their environment supplies them. Souls are natural to their environment. They use their environment because it is what they were designed for, and their environment supplies them. Souls are spiritual, so should live spiritually.
The kingdom, the eternal conscience of God, is the same environment in heaven as it is on earth. It is of an unseen quality, just like our souls, just like the Holy Spirit. The kingdom is what supplies souls with love, and all the fruits of love. All the power of God, is available to those souls who understand and believe in the authority of our mediation. That power also comes from the Kingdom.
Souls who do not know Christ, or even know they are souls; rely on the Kingdom. They love what they wish, and through them the holiness of the fruits of love, they do the will of what masters them. They do not know they are enslaved. They do not know they are sinning against the will of God. They are blindly led to a spiritual death. The kingdom is for those who live in this spiritual poverty.

Matthew 5:3
3
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
---
The Holy Spirit gives believers an ability to serve the will of God with the kingdom. This service of God's will is an act of faith, that shows that God alone is righteous. When we pray constantly, we are living in the Spirit, and the will of God becomes our path.
Our flesh fights back. Desires increase, temptation increases. And we are told to persevere. What happens is we become even more reliant on serving, or we forget our progress, and return to our spiritual poverty.
Yesterday, I was facing down anger and bitterness. At its root, I had not forgiven a man for a trespass against me. My body, in that knowledge, filled my heart and mind with anger, and bitterness. But I caught this. In my mind and with my heart, I prayed with a closed mouth: "Please, help me forgive." In that very moment, I had forgiven him, my soul was freed of the temptation. I celebrated the gift of the Holy Spirit for the remainder of the day.
Our souls are meant to live in the holiness that created them. We are not this flesh, this flesh is of the world. Our souls do not have a natural environment here. We are not of this animal, we are capable of acting without instinct and emotional reaction. And, most importantly, we can show that we believe this, and can receive guidance to do what is natural for our souls. Which is to live in the spirit, like we will eternally.
