In 1492, Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas. That is 1400+ years after Paul was sent out to deliver the gospel to Jews and Gentiles. The known world was a great deal smaller then.
Mankind us from two origins. During the years of the disciples and Paul, they were fully unaware that mankind had two different origins. One that came from the world, and one that came from the breath of God. This correction could not have been made until the knowledge of existence was available. So from the ministry of the disciples and Paul, what they said was what they knew.
The Most High made creation in six days, and rested from His work on the seventh day. Time is not the same in eternal places. What was six days to the Most High, was hundreds of millions of years here on earth.
On the second day, the Most High created a being. We call him Adam. He is called Adam because he is made by God. Adam spent a great amount of time in the presence of the Most High, in a place called the garden. The garden is also known as Paradise. Paradise is a part of eternal realms, again, not under the same constraints of time like we understand it.
Adam was born long before mankind began to develop. Mankind developed during the sixth day. Adam was built by the hand of God, in His image, called a soul. The image of God is the unseen qualities of God, namely spiritual life. Adam's vessel was formed out of ingredients of the earth, so he could be a part of creation. Mankind, as we know, developed through Earth. Mankind came from the waters to the land. Mankind, being part of creation, procreated and adapted to creation by subduing it.
Of mankind, of these creatures, none were a suitable partner for Adam. So the Most High made Adam fall asleep, and from Adam, the Most High took a rib. The Most High used that rib and earthly components, and created a form He then breathed life into it. This form was called Eve. She was called woman because she came from God and Man.
The lineage of Adam and Eve is important because they are directly from God. Mankind developed from the Earth.
By the time Adam and Eve's child Cain came into manhood, there were populated regions. Cain took a wife from Nod. Thus began the blending. The second child Able, was murdered, and the third Child, Seth, took his sister Azura as his wife. Generations down Seth's lineage, a great flood wiped out the known world. Noah and his family were said to have been the only survivors. But again, the known world was a great deal smaller then.
All the while, others continents were still in existence. Man was developing on its own. They place the story of Adam and Eve about four thousand years before Christ. While we have evidence of border tribes in South America living in caves tens of thousands of years ago. All of this is completely viable.
The lineage of God's people, the flood, the Messiah, the Holy Spirit, all are fully reliable. But this knowledge base was missing of the remainder of the Earth.
God knew. Jesus knew. That is why he said 'creatures' and 'A grapevine has been planted apart from the Father.' Jesus knew what was to come, and what was to come was to begin with the Jews, then to the Gentiles. God showed himself to Moses, because Moses was of Adam's lineage. The Chosen People were God's way of bringing the entire world into a relationship with Him through His Authority. The Almighty did not approach any other people, because they grew apart from Him and would not recognize Him or His Authority.
Why did the Hebrews rebel? Because they were a blend of mankind and Adam's lineage. They relied on their instincts and they also desired to subdue the world. The Lord has always shown them mercy when they repent, and guided them when they obeyed. But as soon as they got want they wanted they turned away and sought out worldliness. They did not understand they need to deny oneself in order to persevere in faithfulness.
So the one who made straight paths for the Lord came. In the Spirit of Elijah, John the Baptist taught repent and to bear fruit worthy of repentance. Then came the Messiah. And Jesus taught repent, and belief in the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets. He explained the Authority of God, and because of him the atonement for the nature of the flesh was made for those who would believe in his covenant. After his ascension, the disciples received the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit carries the Authority of God through those who serve the Father's will. The Holy Spirit resides in the faithful forever. And the faithful are then considered the body of Truth which Jesus is the head of. Through Jesus in this way, the Chosen people, God's true righteous people, and those who were lost, all return to God. But that has yet to happen in full.
The known world expanded out. And the Churches had to make choices to treat others as they would have themselves be treated, or, force their man made religion on others by their own terms. And in the name of Jesus they decimated, looted, judged, murdered, all the creatures they came across. The world became larger and the authority of Christ based religions of man became a tool to exercise any and all right that claimed they had.
Paul used to blend into the culture and bring understanding through love and holiness. This service and the humility that comes with service was not exercised during the expansion of the known world. They weaponized God for their own will to be done.
God's work is to believe in the One He sent. The faith ministry is the only way to salvation. The creatures and the scattered tribes of Israel are all blended. In the years since the ascension, the Way has been lost, and replaced with a blending of scripture and false teaching. God knew. Jesus knew.
So where does that leave us today? First we have to forgive our forefathers. Then we have to repent our worldliness, and ask forgiveness for the wickedness we sit upon. We have to supplement our repent with acts that show humility. Then we have to approach the Father through Jesus, and accept the guidance we receive from the Holy Spirit. Our day, everyday, is for prayer and for service. Yes, we work on earth to maintain ourselves. But we also need to set aside every opportunity we can to be loving and bear fruit. We must deny ourselves in order to have holiness come through us.
The wickedness of the creatures is in everyone. We are hardwired to rely on our instinct and act on our desires. As believers we are the only ones alive who have died of this so we can carry holiness forward. There is no other way to the Father except through His Son. The grapevine planted apart from the Father flourishes, and subdues. Creatures use life to maintain their existence. While believers give their life over to eternal authority to serve the will of God.
Christ Jesus is the living Son of God
