Praying should always be sincere. Praying should also take on the form of a personal relationship with the Father. Praying constantly, not repeating prayers, but moving forward in a progression.
Jesus was questioned by his disciples, how they should pray. In the books of Luke and Matthew, the prayer Jesus instructed them to say has differences. It is surprising that something so vital would not be clarified. I suggest to you, that the differences only serve to show us that personal sincerity is an ingredient in our prayers.
The disciple's prayer itself has certain statements that most Christians have memorized, but have not given over to discernment. Also, with numerous translations, over numerous generations, in numerous languages, the wording has changed somewhat. I believe this is okay, again, it comes down to a level of sincerity.
Turning a single prayer into a mantra, (something repeated by pagans to empower), is not what we have been instructed to do. Yes, we were told in parable that to petition will find results. But a petition of prayers is again a progressive thing, not a repetitious nagging.

CORRECTNESS
The Catholic Pope, changed the word 'lead' for the word 'leave', it the line: "Lead us not into temptation.." He did so because God does not tempt. I was greatly confirmed by this because only weeks before the Pope stated this change, I too was guided in the Holy Spirit to this. A small miracle.
I suggest there are also other changes that should be made to correct the prayer. I woke up this morning and my mind was immediately aware of this line of that prayer: "Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
There is wickedness in heavenly realms.
---
Ephesians 6:12
12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
---
So to say His will be done 'as it is in Heaven', is to say wickedness is a part of His will, and that we are praying it be the same on Earth. See? If the Father's will was done in heaven, no wickedness could be there.
---
Psalm 92:15
15
proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”
---
Why would we pray that His will be done, if His will, His Law, is upon all things through His Authority already? Because His will is done by those who love Him. Otherwise, it is replaced with what is done on individual terms. If it is His will, we say as Jesus said:
---
Luke 22:32
32
"Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."
---
He is righteousness. The One He sent is of His righteousness, His righteous Authority. We carry that Truth forward by setting our will aside. The same should be done in heaven. But we know it isn't because wickedness remains in heavenly realms as well as upon the Earth.
By praying, "as it is in heaven", we are praying that wickedness remain there and be allowed to remain here also. Are we praying that evil be allowed to remain in Creation so it can be judged? No, we do not have to pray for that which is known to be coming. Should we not be praying that His will be done throughout His creation?
Another issue I have found is that believers do not understand what is meant by the line in the prayer that says, "Give us this day our daily bread."
Jesus is the bread of life. By being part of the body of truth, which he is the head, we suffer as he suffered. From the Kingdom, by the Holy Spirit, we bring forward fruit that honors that Truth, and wickedness does not recognize it. Our daily bread holds the sufferance we take into ourselves to do the will of the Father.

The Disciples Prayer
(LUKE)
Father,
hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptation.
(MATTHEW)
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.

The prayer set out by Jesus can be seen as a template to base other prayers of service off of.
I have created to examples that take into consideration, the template and the tone of the prayer Jesus set out for his disciples.
I know that a sincere groan or whimper directed at God is fully heard and comprehended by God. But, when we are seeking power from the Kingdom, we are seeking to serve. I believe Jesus set this prayer for his disciples; a prayer of service. And I believe it is meant to be a template for what must be said:
Almighty Father
Name above all Names
Let Your Kingdom come upon me,
so Your will is done through me,
Let it be done throughout Your Creation.
This day,
I accept Your Truth in me,
so I may suffer for Your will.
Forgive my trespasses,
For I forgive those who trespass against me.
Deliver from temptation,
let me reside in your Heart.
It's power will glorify You forever by the Amen.
Almighty Father,
Who is above all.
Of Your Kingdom I ask for patience,
So your will is done through me,
As it should be done in all Creation.
I deny myself to supply this holiness.
I forgive so I may have Your forgiveness.
May Your Holy Spirit guide me away from temptation, and Your Truth deliver me from my desires to do my own will.
For the Kingdom is Yours, may it's power glorify Your will by the Amen.
Almighty Father,
Holiness is Your Name.
From Your Kingdom,
Grant me the power to discern.
I thirst to do Your will, I eat the bread of Life.
May all of Creation be sustained through You.
I humble myself before You,
So Your will can be done through this vessel.
I seek Your forgiveness, so I forgive others.
Keep me close so I may not fall into temptation.
The Kingdom is of Your Spirit and Your Authority. Grant me this gift by the Amen.

The Holy Spirit will guide you in prayer. This Disciple Prayer was given by Jesus before he ascended, therefore was given before the Holy Spirit was with us. The Holy Spirit can be relied upon to set words on our hearts and minds, either to be spoken or prayed for. What the Holy Spirit looks for is sincerity in faith.
Pray, always pray.
