Sharing the Light

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

When we live in faith, what is exciting to understand is, what light we bring to others, builds into something more. As I supply a person with charity, they may supply another with kindness, who then serves yet another with patience. All which glorifies the Father by His kingdom he set upon us, and honor the Spirit by which it came through us. So from light shines more light, from one investment builds interest.

Matthew 25:14-18

“Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them.

15

To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, a each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.

16

The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more.

17

So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.

18

But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.

If that is put in context with the following, we see that faithful acts are what brings the gospel of the kingdom to life:

James 2:26

As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Sharing the light of Truth, as part of the body of Christ, is recognized by Father and witnessed by the Holy Spirit. The more you use a muscle, the stronger it gets, the more it can supply. So it is with serving the Father’s will by the authority of His Truth. Except, with the light, it expands beyond itself, and compounds into more. And when acting on your own strength you get tired, and your body fails, the Spirit of Truth only gets stronger, and in it’s perfection does not fail. As part of the body of Truth, what holiness comes through us is the spark that fuels a firestorm.

It is also comparable to planting seed in good soil. The sprout branches out, and becomes solid and rooted. What was one act of holiness becomes a timeline of love, bearing all manor of holy fruit and in abundance. When we share the light, it does not fade in the presence of darkness, instead darkness cannot remain, nor can it linger. This is proof that love is holy, and not a human echo of reaction. For only holiness can supply righteousness, and all things holy stem from the unseen qualities of God Almighty.

Sharing the Light, does not serve you, it serves the light. The light through you is how you treat others as Christ would treat them. With love, selfless service, freedom from themselves. You see, when a soul is treated with love, they sense it, and wish to express it through themselves. Our souls are born of love. And being a part of it, brings light where darkness reigns.

Share, as it is freedom. Share the light of the world through you. And watch a new day dawn.
