Elijah and the vision

I was sitting outside pondering the power of God.

A vision came upon me. I was standing on a sunny day. Toward me came a leader and behind him in the distance was his group of soldiers in number.

I was approached by the leader and sensed that I was their target. As the man approached me, there were words said between us that didnt matter. But I was in danger, and the leader was there to act on orders.

I remember a great calm in me, and I remember being very intense. I said to the soul of this leader, "Your army has fallen dead, your body is dead." And because I said this, all of his men fell dead, as did he.

I went back inside. It was a very strange thing I witnessed in my mind. I did understand that it was the power of God that did what was shown. I returned to some praying and the biblical figure Elijah came to my mind. I did a google search on where Elijah was mentioned in the bible. So I started reading.

---

2 Kings 1: 7-10
7
The king asked them, “What sort of man came up to meet you and spoke these words to you?”

8
“He was a hairy man,” they answered, “with a leather belt around his waist.”

“It is Elijah the Tishbite,” said the king.

9
Then King Ahaziah sent to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men. So the captain went up to Elijah, who was sitting on top of a hill, and said to him, “Man of God, the king declares, ‘Come down!’”

10
Elijah answered the captain, “If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.”

And fire came down from heaven and consumed the captain and his men.

The story goes on about Elijah. But I stopped writing this down after reading up to verse 10. In the Spirit, I was then reminded that last night I wondered about the transfiguration of Christ, and the forms of Moses and Elijah being present. I had known that Moses was mediation for those under Law, and Jesus is the current mediator. But where did Elijah fit in?

Elijah ascended. But we know from Christ that he did not find his way into the presence of God, because none had been in the presence of God except the one that was sent from it. So while Jesus was alive Elijah in his form, was in heavenly realms. This just adds to the mystery of God. But then we found out after Christ was raised from the dead, that he shared the gospel of truth and the gospel of the kingdom with the dead. Those who believed were no longer bound by their sins, as Christ now had authority over the dead. So Elijah and others did then find their way into the Father's presence by Christ's authority.

In my life I have been witness to many things that are not normal. Of the forms I personally have been witness to, one in particular was a hairy man with a leather belt that hung down and had strange markings on it. He was the form that took me and my friend to safety, after telling me there was great evil where I was. We travelled in the spirit with him a great distance, over two miles, in a flash of light.

Tonight I feel confirmed by this. I do feel I was shown that vision because I am being shown a greater understanding. We are all attached to God through the Authority of Christ. Believers are not independant of heaven or each other. The living and the souls of the dead who have accepted the truth, are all woven together through the Holy One. Elijah, Moses, Jesus, David, Jacob, Abraham, Isaac, Able, the Saints, all whom Christ gives his authority to, can act on our behalf.

I think this is why Catholics pray to Saints. But I personally do not condone such things. We pray to God the Father, and our prayer is petitioned by Christ Jesus. But this does not mean that we are separate from these others like Elijah. So why are they present then? Because they carry purpose in heavenly realms, like they fulfilled purpose on earth. They are a part of the Kingdom of God!

So it comes down to us all being a part of the same kingdom. I have begun to see the kingdom as the heart of God, the conscience of eternity. We as humans are taught we have our own conscience in ourselves. And we are told that spiritually we must keep a clear conscience in order to remain loving. But more than this, our soul is directly attached to the kingdom. Most ignore it. But I believe it is through prayer and constant prayer, that we become open to the fruits and gifts of the kingdom. Our conscience is darkness and bears no good fruit on its own. The heart of man is evil. So we must deny ourselves, and instead have the eternal kingdom, the heart of God, supply us with what is holy.

I feel that those who are part of the Kingdom in heavenly realms, can give. The Holy Spirit gives guidance and assurances, yes. But that is because the Spirit of Truth resides within believers who seek to do the will of God. But there is more. The Kingdom is what supplies holiness in the form of love and the fruits and gifts. But is not the kingdom of heaven full of souls? So, I believe that those souls who have part in the kingdom of heaven, can witness, or give, to those in existence.

Each soul is a part of God. When the flesh perishes the soul returns to God having knowledge of self or understanding of God's wealth. A soul then becomes a part of the kingdom, adding to it all the acts of love and faith and kindness and joy, peacefulness, and patience, goodness and self control that thy performed while existing. Having now grace that atones for the sins that bound that soul from sharing in the kingdom. Now the believing souls from Adam forward, are in God's presence, an active part on the overflowing fullness of the heart of God. All a part of the conscience of the living God. All having crowns and an active role in the authority of the kingdom. All capable of sharing the holiness that came through them to help us who seek, ask, and in a knock of faith find confirmation.

Having this understanding, gives the term reconciliation a meaning of souls returning to the love that creates them, but now confirmed and aligned with God's purpose.

So was it the Spirit of Elijah who showed me tonight this vision? I have belief it was, and by the authority of Christ, to glorify the wonders of God's kingdom. Amen.

A final note: from the time of creation, certain angels and heavenly forms came into being that will be thrown out of the kingdom. It is very likely this is because they deny the mediation of the Holy One, or, they themselves use the kingdom to do the will of God on their terms. It might very well be that this is how temptation works. Why does this matter? Because if we do not deny ourselves, we are not open to the truth for it to work through us. It all begins to make sense.

Hallelujah! Pray constantly. Pray inwardly with your mind, listen with your heart. Pray for others, and get used to having the Holy Spirit lead you in prayer. Recognize the fruits of the Kingdom as they come through you and others. Find your spiritual gift or gifts. Work them like a muscle. More will be added to you.

This is a spiritual life.
