Introduction into Spiritual Life

What you are

You are a soul. An image of spiritual unseen quality. Your soul is bound in this form for a time. This time is an expression of death. Life, is an expression of spirit. Your soul is the life in this expression of death.

This expression of death is called existence. We exist under the law of death. It is this same authority for all things in creation. Our form has developed by the survival of the fittest. This authority is unknown, yet exists to this day. We call this darkness. Darkness is existence that begins blind and ends blind.

There is one Almighty God. Through His authority, all things came to be. This includes human souls, which are of the same unseen quality as He is. A soul that seeks to know this authority, is considered faithful. A soul that is faithful, and seeks to act on faith is considered righteous. This righteousness is of God, not of the individual. Righteousness is what we call light.

So a soul that acts on faith, has light in them. When the soul does not act on faith, there is only darkness. The Almighty sent down a set of commandments to a man of His righteousness. These commandments were to explain the darkness from the understanding of light. This was done so that a soul would understand the bondage of darkness.

These commandments are called the Law. They are spiritual commandments, that speak of physical acts of darkness. Unless you know what you are a slave to, you cannot be free of this bondage without dying of it. These physical acts of darkness are called sin. Sin is when a soul acts on the desires of the body it is bound in. The law of sin compels the body to react, because the body does not acknowledge the soul. So when the soul begins to be mindful of the commandments, the body fights to sin more. This is the law at work in us. Awakening the soul to begin to hunger for light, instead of remaining full of darkness.

Over time, certain faithful souls were placed among us to share understanding. These souls were called prophets. There were 24 prophets that gave us understanding from the Holy Authority. They also spoke of a time when the Holy Authority would come. This authority did come, and he came to fulfill the Law, by bringing us a Way to the Truth of Life. He supplied us with a full spiritual understanding. He is considered the final prophet because he completed his existence carrying light into death. Death had no authority over his soul because of this light. So he was raised from the dead. And as this new creation which can not die, this Holy One returned to the Almighty, where he came from.

He made a promise to send down another, which was the Spirit of Truth. This Holy Spirit holds the guidance and council that a soul need to also be freed from the bondage of sin and death. Any soul who believes in what this last prophet did, can receive the Holy Spirit in them. And as the Spirit of Truth is of the Holy Authority, these souls become a part of him. And he is a part of God Almighty. God called the prophet his son. We know him as the Christ. Most call him Jesus.

Your soul is a slave to sin. It is what we are born into. If you decide to believe in Jesus, you are deciding to die of this world. And in your rebirth, your faith makes your soul a slave to the righteousness of God. Even if your flesh dies, your soul, which has this light, will not perish with your body, because death has no claim over the truth you carry in you. So although your soul can only choose one master or the other, if your soul has already died of the world, it cannot die again, and will find its way into the life from which it originally came.
